Sitting astride the Yamuna river in the Central Plains of the Indian subcontinent, Delhi is the Capital city of India. Part of the National capital Territory, it is the second-most populous city in the country after Mumbai. But in recent times, however, Delhi boundaries have exceeded the national capital territory into the neighbouring satellite cities of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Noida.

Delhi is renowned for many things, its mouthwatering street food, its rich cultural heritage, the sheer size of the entire city and, the home of the leader of the country, the Prime Minister. It has been the seat of power for many a great empire including the Mughals, one of the greatest empires to have ever existed in India.

Coming to the present, however, one thing that is associated with Delhi is its hard climatic conditions. It is extremely dry and hot most of the year while being quite cold and chilly during the winter. It can go up to nearly 40C in the summer and dip to less than 7C in the winter. But the city is not without its merits. 

Delhi is now a bustling metropolitan city with great infrastructure and services. You have free electricity and water and a ton of career opportunities. One thing that stands out is its street food and historical landmarks. It is a great place for both tourism and business.
