Please be fore-warned that this is a an absolute faltu movers and packers company. Don't believe a word from anyone especially Shiv and Tina, both best each other at absconding when it comes to action or execution. They make tall commitments just to get the order and then they show their most unprofessional attitude. Their ONE & ONLY FOCUS is getting the money... service and transparency in their operations is not in their dictionary at all.
I booked an interstate dedicated relocation service with my goods to be picked up on 8th August and scheduled for 11 August delivery - day time.
Post receiving the booking amount, all their follow-ups stopped. I had to literally spoon feed them on the location pickup and time, then follow-up to ensure that their team arrives. Post loading and moving from my location, I had follow-up on the status of movement of my shipment.
The loading and pickup was done on 8th August by 7.15 pm. Post that no communication on the documentation I need to receive or update on the timeline for expecting the delivery on 11 August. Inspite of negotiating an all inclusive price, they arm-twisted me to pay additional money saying taxes were not included. This additional demand money was forced upon post picking up my goods. BTW, they never communicated in the first place and their quotation is the evidence for that. We then agreed that this additional tax money will be paid when my goods reach me.
When I followed-up on the 11th, as if they are a gift to the humankind, Tina proudly says delivery will be done post 7PM. When I reason on the timelines and simple logic of why day delivery is essential in such moves, she said she doesn't have control on when the driver will reach. When I escalated to Shiv, he attempted to be smart one here trying to convince me on the time required for dedicated delivery. Then I had to confront them with specifics - To cover 1100 km distance at an average speed of 45km/hr. and including 20 hrs. of break time, the total drive time will be approximately 45 hrs. Even if we are to assume that the truck actually left on 9th August 3pm, he should have arrive at the delivery location by 12 Noon on 11th August.
Then started the drama, where they we intermittently blocking my calls, not answering my calls. By the way, botn Tina and Shiv were not even communicating with each other on this case. When Shiv was saying "truck kharab ho gaya hai", Tina was saying delivery will happen by 8 pm. I kept on calling but no response. They did not even have to the courtesy to call me if the truck was genuinely having any issues during transport. I received a late night text stating delivery will be done on 12 August evening. Then one other person from the company called to provide a similar update. Interestingly this person was recording the conversation without announcing as such. Nevertheless, I was already suspecting that something was amiss.
I eventually connected the dots and suspect that they moved my household goods through a shared container service. Shared services typically take 4-5 days to deliver. On the day of delivery, they cooked up this story of the truck problem. Shared services are also cheaper on cost of transportation for the provider. On similar lines, the delivery driver indicated what could have transpired for the so called delay and moving my goods to an another vehicle etc.
Now instead focusing on the delayed and a late evening delivery, once they reached my place, they first wanted me to pay up the GST which they missed including in their quotation. When I tried to take them to task on the issue at hand, their called their unloading guys to stop the work. Payment was not an issue, but this company is only focused on getting the monies without delivering any quality service or being professional in their conduct.
The ONLY good thing that happened in this transaction are the helpers who came for loading & unloading. Hardworking, diligent folks doing the real work unlike the pencil pushers at Shree Mahavir's office.
Interesting part - On Google Maps, their office is listed a temporarily closed but they are using the same address on their quotation. They are YET to give me the invoice for the service. Imagine pushing for GST but NOT providing bills even after 3 days of completing the service. I suspect that they have "temporarily closed" because of all the bad reviews they are getting.
I don't have to spell out my recommendation here and hope you heed the many other experiences cited of this company.
