I had contacted Manobal Packers, Dehradun via www.manobalpackers.com for inter-state transportation from Uttarakhand to Maharashtra. I was cheated by Harpal Singh and I need an immediate escalation, a written apology, and a refund as resolution to this case by the transportation company authorities.
Harpal Singh visited my house in Uttarakhand on March 27, 2022. He inspected the goods and decided that it would require a 14 feet truck costing Rs. 52, 000 (including all charges). I paid him Rs. 2000 as token.

All the goods were packed and loaded in my presence in a 14 feet truck in Truck Number – UK07CB8129 on April 14, 2022. The same truck was supposed to arrive at the location in Maharashtra on April 19, 2022.
Harpal Singh called on April 18 to ask for advance payment. I paid him Rs. 40, 000 and informed that the balance amount (Rs. 10, 000) will be paid after the delivery on April, 19, 2022.
On the delivery date, Harpal Singh called me to ask for the balance payment. He made me talk to someone called Sandeep Kumar who said that my truck has reached the city but it won’t reach my location until I pay the entire amount beforehand. Sandeep Kumar contact - 09630042002
As soon as I made the payment, Harpal Singh stopped taking my calls and replying to my messages. Between April 19 and April 21, there was no information about the goods and I had to make last minute accommodation arrangements in the new city.
Finally, we contacted the head office, Om Packers & Movers on contact number – 9219021221 to track the truck. On April 21, 2022 we received a vehicle – MH14EM9576 (Daak Paarsal - Shivam Freight Cargo) at my location.
This was a pick-up vehicle loaded till the top with my goods (instead of a 14 feet truck that I had loaded my goods in). The vehicle had also met with an accident on the way and most of my goods were badly damaged.
