I do not give negative reviews lightly. This is, in fact, my first ever negative review ever online.
We moved from Chennai to Mumbai.
The cartons were not plastic wrapped even after we were assured that the items would be plastic wrapped.
We were charged a very high amount for insurance 3% of value of items.
2 items arrived in a damaged state:
1. Carton with foodstuff (dry fruits and protein powders - expensive stuff) was eaten through by rats (their warehouse must have a rodent problem).
2. My guitar flight case came cracked even after telling them that the guitar is a high priority fragile item.
The guys at Laxmi Packers stopped receiving our calls after delivery.
I had to file a claim for insurance on my own because their representatives stopped receiving my calls.
Turns out that these guys had gotten the most basic insurance which protected me only in case their vehicle got into an accident.
Claim was denied.
They made me pay for expensive insurance, and instead got me only a very, very basic plan. As a result, I overpaid for insurance that was essentially useless.
They did not hold up their commitment, and cut corners in an unacceptable way.
